Conservancy Announces Summer-Long Art Exhibit
As a gift to our neighbors as we emerge from this horrible pandemic, and in celebration of Riverside Park Conservancy’s 35th Anniversary, we will host a free summer-long art exhibition throughout the Park.
Opening on June 5, this exhibition — called RE:GROWTH, A Celebration of Art, Riverside Park, and the New York Spirit — will feature more than twenty artists, with thirteen site-specific installations throughout the Park, and will celebrate the resiliency and resolve of all New Yorkers.
Curated by Karin Bravin of BravinLee programs, this outdoor interactive event will include both physical installations and augmented reality displays, and can be experienced in a single day, or in multiple visits.
Works from the following artists will be included in the exhibit:
We expect this exhibition to be one of New York City’s best, and most socially-distanced, cultural events this summer, and hope you are as excited about it as we are. You can learn more details about it here.
This event is entirely privately-funded. To help us to ensure its success, and to care for the Park year-round, we hope you will make a gift to Riverside Park Conservancy today.
