Join Summer on the Hudson and the Art Students League of New York for an afternoon of artist talks, poetry readings, and arts & crafts at the current exhibition of Model to Monument Sculptures in Riverside Park at 145th Street, featuring a dance performance by Nu-Lu Dance Company.

Model to Monument (M2M) is a partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation. Since 2010, M2M has trained a diverse, international group of 49 League artists in the process of creating large-scale sculpture for outdoor public spaces under the guidance of master sculptor Greg Wyatt, resident artist at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in Manhattan.

Weather looking iffy? Want to know if the event is still on? Check the SOH Twitter feed or visit nyc.gov/parks/soh 2 hours before the event.

To donate to Riverside Park Programming, or to volunteer please call 212.870.3070.

Summer on the Hudson programming is free to the public. Seating is limited, unreserved, and available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning 1-2 hours before the event. If there is heavy rain at the time of the event, the event will be cancelled. No rain dates are scheduled. If attendance reaches maximum capacity management reserves the right to close participation.
