SUMMARY:Friday Night Jams featuring Autumn Jones
DESCRIPTION:Get out to the park and kick off the weekend with some local so
unds at this monthly musical get-happy hour. Friday Night Jams takes place
on the last Friday of the month from May through August. \n\nMay 30 ' Gen

 &B\nJuly 25 ' Autumn Jones / feel-good neo-Soul\nAug 29 ' Danielle Martin
 / blues-based alt-rock\n\nAutumn Jones is a singer-songwriter from Maplewo
od\, New Jersey\, and an alumni of Berklee College of Music in Boston\, MA
. The soulful R&B she creates is an expression of her life experiences as
told through her stories and in each of her songs\, which are available on
all major platforms. \nLast May\, Autumn released her debut EP called 4.4
.4 with a visual short film that encompasses the three songs. The project
was recorded with her band The Smoke at Bunker Studio in Brooklyn. The lea
d single on the song In The Rain has garnered attention from Notion magazi
ne who describes the piece as a neo-soul-style song with full and effusi
ve vocals reminiscent of blues veteran\, Corinne Bailey Ray. \nSummer on t
he Hudson events are free and open to the public. Seating is limited\, unr
eserved\, and available on a first-come\, first-served basis. If there is
heavy rain at the time of the event\, the event will be canceled. For weat
her updates\, check nyc.gov/parks/soh 2 hours before the event.
