DESCRIPTION:The Conservancys Sustainability team invites you to support us 
 with compost processing and gardening work and at the 95th Street Compost 
 Compound. \nThe compost that is currently in progress at our site is creat
 ed right here in Riverside Park! We utilize machinery for the composting w
 ork\, and when the compost is ready it will be applied to soil in the Park
 \, thus retaining nutrients from the debris that enters the site and closi
 ng the loop. \nPlacePartner Opportunities are weekly/monthly occasions for
  volunteers to work alongside our field staff and ParkTenders. We will pro
 vide all the tools you need! Please bring water to stay hydrated. Please w
 ear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes. \nPlease note that
  volunteers under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. \nFor existing volun

DESCRIPTION:Art in the Park invites children ages 3-8 to learn about their 
 local environment through a mix of arts & crafts activities. This hands-on
 \, place-based curriculum builds kids appreciation for the plants\, pollin
 ators\, and wildlife found in Riverside Park\, and fosters their creativit
 y. \nMondays and Thursdays at Riverbank (Camel) Playground; Tuesdays and W
 ednesdays at Hippo Playground. Art in the Park is fully funded by proceeds
  from the Hippo Playground Spring Fair.
