DESCRIPTION:The New York Historical Society and Summer on the Hudson partne
 r for a monuments tour of Riverside Park\, an Olmsted gem and one of New Y
 ork Citys Scenic Landmarks. Join us for a guided walk along Riverside Driv
 e that highlights the parks development as well as its historic and commem
 orative monuments. \nThe South Tour begins at the 72nd Street park entranc
 e and proceeds north. The North Tour begins at the 122nd Street General Gr
 ant National Memorial and proceeds south. Each tour is approximately 1.5 m
 iles and will involve some hills. Wear comfortable shoes. Space is limited
  and registration is required. \nSeptember 30 | South Tour | Register Here
 \nOctober 1 | North Tour | Register Here \nSummer on the Hudson events are
  free and open to the public. Seating is limited\, unreserved\, and availa
 ble on a first-come\, first-served basis. If there is heavy rain at the ti
