SUMMARY:POSTPONED: Mycelium: A Solar-Powered Concert
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE 7/16: Due to expected hazardous AQI\, this event has bee
 n postponed to Tuesday\, 7/28. \nMycelium: A Solar-Powered Orchestral Avan
t-Pop Concert About Hidden Worlds \nInspired by the hidden intelligence of
fungi and plankton\, this musical suite weaves orchestral textures with m
odern jazz/pop influences to show how even the smallest forms of life can
help us understand ourselves and connect more deeply with each other. \nAb
out the Artist: Praised for her depth of dimension\, multimodal artist Sir
intip Phasuk draws inspiration from a range of styles and disciplines. Her
works explore unsung intersections of humankind and the natural world ' a
focus that drives her curiosity and expands her output. Part ethereal\, p
art impassioned\, her vocals move nimbly across sophisticated harmony\, so
ar over dense walls of sound\, and pulse through rhythmic modulations. A h
ighly sought studio collaborator\, Sirintip has shared her unique sound on
more than 30 releases. \nSummer on the Hudson events are free and open to
the public. Seating is limited\, unreserved\, and available on a first-co
me\, first-served basis. If there is heavy rain at the time of the event\,
the event will be canceled. For weather updates\, check nyc.gov/parks/soh
