DESCRIPTION:The Jazz Foundation of America presents two evenings of live wa
 terfront music featuring renowned bandleaders playing a variety of jazz an
 d Latin styles. \nRonnie Burrage & Holographic Principle: St Louis-born Dr
 ummer\, percussionist\, keyboardist\, composer\, arranger\, band leader an
 d educator Ronnie Burrage has a style drawn most notably from the musical 
 genres of jazz\, funk and soul. A founding member of Joseph Bowies Defunkt
 \, he worked with greats like Sonny Fortune\, McCoy Tyner\, Sonny Rollins\
 , and Jackie McLean before starting his own groups\, which have featured K
 enny Kirkland\, Marcus Miller\, Wallace Roney and Wynton and Branford Mars
 alis. His current group\, Holographic Principle\, features his own composi
 tions and imaginatively reworked standards. \nSummer on the Hudson events 
 are free and open to the public. Seating is limited\, unreserved\, and ava
 ilable on a first-come\, first-served basis. If there is heavy rain at the
  time of the event\, the event will be canceled. For weather updates\, che
