 ers \nAugust 8 ' Durieux\n\nThe Brooklyners is a NYC reggae band that blen
 ds Jamaican standards\, French classics\, and original conscious tunes int
 o a unique tropical cocktail. The band got its name from its members diver
 sity and multicultural backgrounds\, as well as from its home base of Broo
 klyn\, NYC. Formed 10 years ago\, the group has since played hundreds of s
 hows in NYC and traveled up and down the East Coast. \nThe Brooklyners fea
 tures David Langlois on vocals\, percussion\, and rhythm guitar; Ras Abda 
 G on vocals and bass; Kikkah Jackson on vocals and drums; Andy Bassford on
  guitar; and Bryan Benhingove on keyboards\, saxophone\, and melodica. \nS
 ummer on the Hudson events are free and open to the public. Seating is lim
 ited\, unreserved\, and available on a first-come\, first-served basis. If
  there is heavy rain at the time of the event\, the event will be canceled
