DESCRIPTION:The Jazz Foundation of America presents a spirited sunset conce
 rt featuring renowned bandleaders playing a variety of jazz and Latin styl
 es. \nSeptember 11: Marcus Persiani & Trio Cachimbo \nA modern version of 
 the classic George Shearing piano trios\, Trio Cachimbo draws from a reper
 toire of standards\, jazz and pop tunes to seamlessly meld a beat that can
  move a crowd. Led by the versatile pianist Marcus Persiani\, who has work
 ed with a wide variety of major artists including Willie Colon\, Mario Bau
 za\, the Sugar Hill Quartet and George Coleman\, the band also features th
 e talented conguero Matthew Gonzalez. \nSummer on the Hudson events are fr
 ee and open to the public. Seating is limited\, unreserved\, and available
  on a first-come\, first-served basis. If there is heavy rain at the time 
 of the event\, the event will be canceled. For weather updates\, check nyc
