  and equipment. Dont forget to wear comfortable clothing and shoes\, and b
 ring a water bottle to stay hydrated. \nThis project is not suitable for c

DESCRIPTION:National Public Lands Day is the nations largest single-day vol
 unteer effort for public lands. The purpose is to connect people to public
  land in their community\, inspire environmental stewardship\, and encoura
 ge use of public lands for education\, recreation\, and general health. \n
 To participate in this event\, please register here. \n**PLEASE READ FOR D
 IRECTIONS:** \n\nThe meeting location will be at Discovery Playground (PLE
 ASE DONT BE LATE!)\nThe project location is North of the second Softball F
 ield\nOur staff will be at a bright yellow tent at the location of the pro
 ject.\nApprox. Google Maps coordinates for volunteer meeting location\n\nW
 hat to wear/bring: \n\nFilled water bottle\nSturdy\, closed-toe shoes\nLon
 g pants\nComfortable clothing that can get dirty\nSunscreen\nOptional: Hat
 \n\nKeep all personal items with you at all times\, as we will not have a 
 secure area for bags.\nFor the safety of our staff and volunteers\, if on 
 the day of the project you are sick or not feeling well\, STAY HOME! It is
