DESCRIPTION:[10/1 EVENT CANCELED] \nVolunteer in the sweet spot of Riversid
 e Park between 72nd and 96th Streets! \nThis historic section of the park 
 is home to majestic monuments\, beautiful native plant gardens\, hidden fo
 rests\, and lovely river views. Well be working across this part of the pa
 rk in various gardens and woodland areas doing weeding\, mulching\, prunin
 g\, and ecological restoration. \nMeeting location will rotate between Hip
 po Playground and River Run Playground. \nFor existing volunteers: Please 
 sign up through the Grassroots Volunteer Portal.\nFor new volunteers: Plea
