The goats take up residency for the summer on sloped terrain that is rife with invasive plants. Since goats are natur ally effective weed whackers\, putting them to work in Goatham is like tre ating them to an all-you-can-eat buffet. Its hearty for the goats and good for the environment. \nThis year\, for the second season\, theyll be work ing in the forested area from 143rd-145th Streets\, as their work in the B ird Sanctuary was completed. \nVolunteers are an essential part of this pr ogram. Each evening\, the goats need to be enclosed in a shelter.
