Calling All Riverside Pups! Submissions Now Open for Riverside Park Conservancy’s 2026 ‘Paws & Hooves’ Calendar Featuring Both Dogs and Goats

Share

It’s time to put your best paw forward! Riverside Park Conservancy’s dog calendar contest is coming back for 2026 — this time with a GOAT-y twist! Our 2026 calendar, ‘Paws & Hooves,’ will feature 12 dogs + 12 bonus goat sidekicks. It’s double the cuteness in this uniquely Riverside calendar that will showcase how our park is a haven for ALL your four-legged friends!

For a chance to have your pups’ picture featured, parkgoers are encouraged to submit a photo of their dog(s) in Riverside Park, Fort Washington Park, Sakura Park, Riverside Park South, or West Harlem Piers Park. Submissions are open until Sunday, September 7.

After submissions close, Conservancy staff will help select the finalists for each month. Then, we’ll turn it back to you, our community, to vote for your favorites. The top 12 winners will earn a feature for each month of our calendar — with a corresponding goat picture on the flip side of the page, taken by our amazing team of volunteer goat photographers (for a preview, check out some of their work here @riversidegoats).

Photos should be high-resolution and horizontal orientation (JPG or PNG files at least 3300 pixels wide x 2550 pixels high are preferred).

Proceeds from sales of the 2026 Paws & Hooves Calendar will go directly to the Conservancy to help improve and maintain our dog runs.

Riverside Pups aims to connect the large dog community in the park together through programming, volunteering, and fundraising. For questions on how to get involved, reach out to [email protected]
