119th Street Tennis Courts (“Over the Track Courts”)

These ten hard courts are located adjacent to Riverside Park’s Bird Sanctuary and Pollinator Meadow. The 119th Street Tennis Association (119TA) a Conservancy User Group, raises funds for supplemental materials and maintenance through membership, donations, tournaments and tennis ladders. Join the 119TA to meet other players, participate in tournaments, and help maintain the courts. Check out the 119TA Website here. You can also click here to join.

Tennis lessons are available directly from Tennis Innovators. They can be found at tennisinnovators.com.

96th Street Red Clay Courts (“Oscar Hijuelos Clay Courts”)

Surrounded by flower gardens and lush lawns and located right on the riverside, these are the only outdoor red-clay pubic courts in the City and one of the very few in the nation. The facility is managed by the non-profit Conservancy affiliate, Riverside Clay Tennis Association, which offers a wide array of tennis programming for youth and adults: tournaments, ladders, lessons, adaptive tennis, and cardio tennis, as well as picnics, parties and free concerts every Saturday night in the summer. Go the RCTA website to see events and sign up for programs here.

You can download the TennisGroups app on Apple or Google to easily access information and signups for all three courts!
