Dog Run 142 is a Riverside Park Conservancy affiliate and Park User Group. They are active in the community and are dedicated to fostering an inclusive space for everyone. They invite dog lovers from all over NYC to join in the fun! To get involved, email [email protected].

After years of rallying for a dog run in West Harlem, a group of dedicated local volunteers successfully opened Dog Run 142 in June 2016. Their efforts were supported by Riverside Park Conservancy, the NYC Parks Department, Councilman Mark Levine’s office, many local community groups, local businesses, and countless neighbors.
Dog Run 142 and the Conservancy worked together to secure City funding to improve the temporary run, and in 2021, plans were finalized for a full renovation.
