Announcing our 2025 Summer on the Hudson season — explore our free public programs here!
Vibrant live music accompanied by spectacular sunsets over the Hudson River.
SPANGLISH FLY: part band, part celebration. They have been hailed as the premier band of the Latin boogaloo revival, “single-handedly reviving sixties bugalú in NYC” (NBC New York). Bugalú! That mix of Latin and soul/R&B music that emerged from the clubs, the street corners, the transistor radios and the pool halls of 1960s Spanish Harlem, “El Barrio.” Two woman lead vocalists sing in English and Spanish over a Latin percussion section, horns, piano and bass.
Summer on the Hudson events are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, unreserved, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. If there is heavy rain at the time of the event, the event will be canceled. For weather updates, check nyc.gov/parks/soh 2 hours before the event.
