Forest Therapy or Forest Bathing comes from the traditions of Shinrin Yoku and other European and indigenous cultures. We invite you to join us in reconnecting with nature by participating in a guided Forest Bathing experience. Allow yourself to connect with the park in a way you never have before. The program includes a short, no more than a half-mile walk at a slow pace. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring water, snacks, and a towel or cushion for sitting on the ground. Participants will meet in front of River Run Playground at 83rd St. at 3:20 PM. The guide will be wearing a purple and white backpack and will be stationed outside the River Run Playground. The walk will begin promptly at 3:30pm. Know Before You Go For everyone’s safety, we are asking all participants to observe the following guidelines:
Additionally, we encourage participants to bring their own hand sanitizer and water bottles to our programs.
