The Hippo Playground Project Presents: Hippo Playground Summer Concert Series!
July 9 (rain date July 10): CARA SAMANTHA
Cara Samantha is a Grammy award winning background vocalist and American Idol alum who infuses jazzy soul into her unique pop stylings. She is a prominent voiceover artist who was featured as the singing voices of Adele, Elsa, Ellie Goulding, Madonna and more in The Key of Awesome’s viral music parodies on YouTube with several million views and voiced the co-lead character in Audible’s original story, Jukebox Joyride by The Pop Ups.
Cara can be seen internationally as the bandleader and emcee of Highline, represented by luxury event agency Elan Artists. Most notably, she sang the national anthem at Nassau Coliseum and at the Red Bull’s Stadium for over 20,000 fans. When she’s not singing for adults, Cara teaches voice to kids of all ages and runs her own music program for kids called Cara’s Caterpillars.
