Hudson Classical Theater Company presents Uncle Vanya

May 31 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Event Series (See All)

The Hudson Classical Theater Company Presents Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov, directed by Joseph Hamel.

Life for Vanya, his mother, and Sonya his niece, is disrupted when Sonya’s father, Professor Serebryakov and his beautiful young wife Yelena, return to the estate.  Deep feelings and passions begin to surface, which only become more intense with the arrival of the handsome Dr. Astrov.

Uncle Vanya runs May 28 – June 21. All shows are Thursdays to Sundays at 6:30pm. No reservations–arrive by 6:15pm for a good seat. Cushions provided. Hudson Classical Theater Company Shows are “Pay What You Can.”  Audience donations help pay for artists stipends and production costs.

Directions to The Soldiers’ & Sailors’ Monument:
Subways: Take the 1 to West 86 or West 96, or take the 2 to West 96.  Walk west towards Riverside Park.
