Riverside Park’s recreation level is filled with play and sports opportunities for all. Joining basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, handball, and skateboarding, pickleball has quickly become a new neighborhood favorite. This accessible and engaging sport provides a great outlet for physical activity, camaraderie, and joy.
City resources alone aren’t enough to meet the wear-and-tear of heavy use on our recreational spaces. The new Pickleball Courts – and Riverside Park’s 29 other courts and playing fields – are cared for by Riverside Park Conservancy’s Ballfields Crew, a team that we recently expanded to meet the growing demand. These professionals work 7 days a week to ensure our recreation areas stay clear of trash and debris and are safe for play. They also care for our newly installed portable bathroom facility at 110th Street.
All donations on this page will go to a dedicated fund to support their work. Your contributions ensure that our team has the support they need to get the job done and grow each year. Thank you for making their work possible!
