City Nature Challenge at Riverside Park

Join us on April 25, 2026 between 10:00 AM and 1:00 (EDT) for a day observing the flora and fauna of the Forever Wild Bird Sanctuary in Riverside Park! Meet Conservancy staff anytime during the duration of the event at West 120th Street & Riverside Drive, where they will provide a short iNaturalist training. Then, use the app to collect data for the 10th Annual City Nature Challenge. This nationwide event harnesses the power of community scientists and gives everyone the chance to contribute to ongoing research. Don’t forget your smartphone, closed-toe shoes, and long pants.
