Join Global Water Dances New York and the Musical Seeds Project in participatory activities to advocate for safe water for all. This interactive educational session includes learning dances and listening to music about water and the planting season, as well as performances focused on appreciation, concern and care of clean water for all.
Global Water Dances is joined by Ramapo Munsee Lenape Native American guides, Parparim Dancers, Art in Motion, Karen Eubanks with Melanin in Motion, 92NY youth dancers, Jody Sperling/Time Lapse Dance, Lori Belilove, Wendy Joseph, and House of Negesti.
Summer on the Hudson events are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, unreserved, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. If there is heavy rain at the time of the event, the event will be canceled. For weather updates, check nyc.gov/parks/soh 2 hours before the event.
